We cordially invite our community to attend a Charlotte- Mecklenburg School Board non-partisan Candidate Forum for 2022. All School Board Candidates for the 2022 election received an invitation to participate in this forum.

This event is sponsored by the following non-partisan organizations.

4. Little Rock A.M.E Zion Church

The Forum will take place on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Little Rock A.M.E. Zion Church, 401 N. McDowell St, from 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM.

A community event will take place from 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM, a food distribution hosted by Second Harvest, Novant Health will provide wellness checks, and school supplies will be distributed by The Mecklenburg Chapter of the NAACP. The Charlotte Section of the National Council of Negro Women will host a registration drive.

The moderator for this event will be Charlotte's own Education Reporter Courtney Cole WBTV.
