SUMMER ARTS Camp: Comic Book Design

SUMMER ARTS Camp: Comic Book Design
Kids and teens, bring stories to life through comics! Alumna artist HNin Nie (Fall 2019) will virtually teach 11 to 16 year-old students how to create original comic book strips by developing their own characters and using creative storytelling. Learning how to compose dialogues and create scenes, students will use their imaginations to illustrate scenarios from a world they invent. Artwork created during the week will be shown in a virtual Artwork Showcase on the last day of class. All supplies for the week will be provided in the camp art box. Delivery to Mecklenburg and Gaston counties are included in the camp cost. If you are outside these counties, you will be contacted to pay a $15 shipping fee.
