SUMMER ARTS Camp: Improving Watercolor Skills

SUMMER ARTS Camp: Improving Watercolor Skills

Kids and teens, build on your watercolor skills! Alumnus artist Tom Thoune (Summer–Fall 2001, Fall 2005) will virtually teach 11 to 16 year-old students lifelong skills for improving their watercolor paintings. In this camp, students will be encouraged to use the color wheel as they learn new techniques to master abstract painting, geometric shapes, and portraiture. Artwork created during the week will be shown in a virtual Artwork Showcase on the last day of class. All supplies for the week will be provided in the camp art box. Delivery to Mecklenburg and Gaston counties are included in the camp cost. If you are outside these counties, you will be contacted to pay a $15 shipping fee.
