In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market vendors will be participating in a friendly competition, The Green with Envy Cooking Competition! Participating vendors will be creating delicious side dishes made with at least two green fruits or vegetables. Some dishes may include cucumbers, zucchini, green apples, limes, avocados, herbs, lettuce, cabbage, sea moss and more. Come out to sample the dishes, discover some cute St. Patrick’s Day-inspired recipes, and bring home some green food for the family. During the event, vote for your favorite green side dish. All customers at the market on Friday, March 17th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm will get to taste the side dishes and determine the winner. This family-friendly event will have everyone in the mood to go green! We will be drawing names of customers to win free prizes for those who vote. Do you have the luck of the Irish?
