Belmont Police have charged the former manager of a restaurant owned by the parents of the Jonas Brothers with embezzlement. They say 53-year-old Joy Nichols Auten is facing five felony counts after an investigation at Nellie’s Southern Kitchen, on North Main Street. Police say Auten embezzled over $200,000 from the eatery between 2016 and 2020.
