An active shooter exercise scheduled for Friday at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse has been postponed. The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office and the Mecklenburg County Court Security Committee made the decision, though they didn't say why. The courthouse will remain open to the public for regular business. The exercise will be rescheduled for a later date.
