Mecklenburg County announced COVID and flu vaccines are available for free to uninsured residents.
County officials said residents can schedule an appointment to get their vaccines as the respiratory season begins to ramp up.
Walk-in appointments are also available during the week at the Northwest, Southeast Health Department, Valerie C. Woodard and Ella B. Scarborough Community Resource centers.
