The North Carolina State Health Plan Board of Trustees is set to vote Friday on a new pricing plan that would tie state employees’ health insurance premiums to their income. Higher-paid employees would pay more for the same plans. The state plan says it’s facing a $507-million dollar deficit and can’t keep spending more than it takes in.
