Occupy Columbia demonstrators are returning with their tents to the South Carolina State House grounds tonight. The group was evicted in December when a state panel created emergency regulations to prohibit overnight camping on the grounds of the Capitol building. But those rules expired on Sunday and state lawmakers have yet to adopt a law making the prohibition permanent. Demonstrators say they'll take advantage of the window to renew their occupation. Among other things, Occupy Columbia is protesting the influence of corporate money in politics.
