World War II Off North Carolina's Coast

http://66.225.205.104/MT20120521.mp3

When people think of World War II, they think of Europe and the Pacific. Not the coast of North Carolina. But in 1942, German U-Boats were patrolling the waters just off the North Carolina coast. In fact, North Carolina had more U-boats off its coast than any other east coast state during the war. Kevin Duffus is a documentary filmmaker and author who's written the new book "War Zone: World War II off the North Carolina Coast."
