Start the season with a lively HOLIDAY ART SHOW on Saturday, November 13 - 10 to 4 pm at Avondale Church – 2821 Park Road. Bringing art & fine craft to Dilworth/ Freedom Park. The one-day, juried show features top, local artists: paintings, mixed media, prints, intriguing photography, functional and decorative pottery, glass, jewelry, book arts, hand-milled soap, wood, purses, fiber and whimsical sculptures. The popular, free event is the first stop for art-lovers to shop for unique, one-of-a-kind, holiday gifts within a wide range of prices. Attendees say “it’s one of the best high-end art and craft shows around and it’s not to be missed!!” Masks will be required and CAC will follow other recommended COVID safety guidelines. The event attracts a mix of 26 established & emerging artists. It’s an interesting collective show with new and favorite artists. The arts group has successfully produced shows for 20 years in the Dilworth/Freedom Park area. Artists have won numerous awards and commissions, are professionals with gallery representation and often lead workshops in their medium. Supporting the good deeds of Dilworth Cares, the event has a raffle for a “Basketful of Art” –presenting the winners with art & craft valued over $500. All proceeds from the raffle sales will go to Dilworth Elementary School.
