Carolina Panthers drop another game, fall to 4-12

The Carolina Panthers sank to 4-12 on Sunday, with a 48-14 trouncing at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Panthers quarterback Bryce Young threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns, but Bucs QB Baker Mayfield — who previously played for the Panthers — threw for five touchdowns and 359 yards. The Bucs also returned a blocked punt for a touchdown.

After the game, Panthers head coach Dave Canales said his team was beaten in every part of the game.

"We got outplayed, out-coached," Canales said. "I’ve got to first give credit to the Bucs. They were on fire today and, you know, they, they made it hard for us."

The Panthers’ final game is next Sunday against the Falcons in Atlanta.
