Cheney Positions on Iraq, Detainees Under Scrutiny

Criminal charges against former White House aide I. Lewis Libby have focused new attention on the man he worked for. Vice President Dick Cheney's support for the Iraq war and for exempting detainees in the war on terror from the conventional rules of treatment and interrogation has brought him in conflict with strong forces elsewhere in the government, including Congress.
