The Park condo building Uptown never took off as developers intended. Their plans went south as the economy tanked. Now, Charlotte Magazine reports there's a new plan to turn the building into a mixed-used facility: retail space on the ground floor, a 172-room Hyatt Place Hotel, 67 luxury condos and ... (drumroll, please) a rooftop restaurant.
