StoryCorps At Levine Children's Hospital
StoryCorps is at Levine Children's Hospital this week. StoryCorps facilitators will be on hand Thursday through Saturday to record conversations about people's experiences with pediatric and palliative care. "It's an opportunity for people to tell their stories about their challenges in life," said Dr. Sarah Gall, the hospital's medical director of pediatric and palliative care. "I think we're looking for it to be a healing experience and also something for other families to listen to and not feel quite as alone as they go through similar, difficult times." StoryCorp's mobile studio will be at the hospital from noon to 7 pm. Thursday, and 8 to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. StoryCorps segments air Fridays on WFAE during Morning Edition.
