Geese are overtaking Roosevelt Wilson Park in Davidson. Now, the town is employing lasers and a dog to address the problem, according to WCNC-TV. Goose poop is the chief concern. Davidson officials worry it can spread viruses to humans. WCNC reports that geese drop up to a pound of poop per day. Lasers will be used at night to scare away the geese, and a dog will be used to make them think a predator is after them. The control measures begin this weekend.
