Invisible Things, 'F'

Invisible Things is the squirreliest, weirdest and loudest noise-rock band in recent memory, which makes sense given its membership: guitarist/vocalist Mark Shippy (U.S. Maple) and drummer Jim Sykes (Parts & Labor). "F" comes from the duo's second album, Time AS One Axis — it tangles and untangles knotty guitar work as Sykes spins in and out of a motorik beat. Dylan Pecora's video does much the same, but with stop-motion paintings that lead viewers down a wormhole filled with crazed facial expressions.

Time AS One Axis is out now on New Atlantis.
