Crews have finished repairing a large sinkhole that swallowed up about two lanes of a narrow street last month near Bank of America Stadium.
The City of Charlotte's Stormwater Services posted on X Monday that a storm water pipe beneath South Cedar Street between Morris Street and West Morehead Street had been repaired, and said the road was set to reopen Tuesday.
The sinkhole reportedly opened up beneath South Cedar Street on July 30.
