The annual 24 Hours of Booty charity ride kicks off tonight in Charlotte's Myers Park neighborhood, raising money for cancer navigation, wellness and survivor programs.
Since its start in 2002, the biking and walking fundraiser has brought in more than $30 million for programs through the Levine Cancer Institute, Levine Children's Hospital and other cancer support organizations.
Expo events begin this afternoon, with cyclists and walkers hitting the three-mile "Booty Loop" around Queens University at 7 p.m. The event continues for 24 hours, wrapping up Saturday evening.
