Discovery Place Museum Discovery Place has been a Charlotte mainstay for almost 30 years and museum officials are nearing completion of an 18 month, $31.6 million renovation. The changes promise to be exciting and, as always, educational. We are joined by the museum's President John Mackay and two of the museum's exhibit officials to talk about the renovation, the museum's history and how the exhibits are designed to teach our children about the world they live in.
