Denyce Graves (Rebroadcast) Mezzo Soprano opera singer Denyce Graves has had a career that has taken her to some of the greatest opera houses around the world, and has led critics to make such statements as this: "if the human voice has the power to move you, you will be touched by Denyce Graves." She was in Charlotte earlier this year to take the stage in Opera Carolina's production of Il Trovatore (The Troubadour), and joined us for the hour. Originally Aired: 10/6/2011 Guest Denyce Graves - Mezzo Soprano, Internationally-known opera singer, earlier this year she was in Charlotte to perform with Opera Carolina in Il Trovatore Habanera from Carmen, the role Denyce Graves is best known for. Denyce sings The Lord's Prayer in front of President Bush and all the living past presidents at the National Service of Prayer and Remembrance following 9/11.
