The Theatre of the Mind Mark Pizzato thinks a lot about plays and movies in his capacity as a Professor of Theatre at UNC Charlotte and the teacher of a film studies course. A good deal of his work focuses on how God, angels and devils are portrayed in film and on stage. More generally, Dr. Pizzato is interested in how perceptions of good and evil arise in the human brain and some of the cultural influences that shape those perceptions. Dr. Pizzato has written a new book, Inner Theatre of Good and Evil: The Mind's Staging of Gods, Angels and Devils, to examine these ideas. We'll discuss these topics and more when Dr. Pizzato joins us. Guests Mark Pizzato - Author, Inner Theatres of Good and Evil: The Mind's Staging of Gods, Angels and Devils.
