Preview of the South Carolina Primary For months the Republican presidential candidates have targeted several states, including South Carolina, for their important place on the primary and caucus calendar. Iowa is done and so is the primary in New Hampshire. The focus has now shifted to South Carolina. It's a state that has traditionally been extremely important to the future success of GOP candidates and this year promises to be no exception. We'll visit with area experts who are keeping an eye on the candidates and the South Carolina primary to learn what to expect, what may surprise us and who may emerge as the South Carolina victor.
