Commentary: Changing names offers no substance
The United Way wants to restore its good name. So some of its overseers are wondering whether there might be value in a shortcut - changing its name altogether. It's just a thought, but if the agency's directors get serious about a new title, it will give detractors something new to cackle about. Suggestions for new names can be expected to range from "Wrong Way" to the "Charitable Society of Marie Antoinette."
