"Coping with Cancer" Seminar via Zoom
“Coping with Cancer” for Patients, Survivors, and Loved Ones Cancer is one of the most devastating diseases of our time. Almost every person in our society knows or loves someone affected by cancer, or knows what it means to battle cancer personally. If you are or a loved one is a cancer patient, cancer survivor, or caregiver, please join us October 11, 2020 at 1:30PM for a Zoom presentation called “Coping with Cancer”. Presenters will share about coping skills and resources available to all affected. Jacob Wiltshire, MSW, LCSWA of the Levine Cancer Institute and Lori Hubbard, a cancer survivor, will be leading the discussion. There is no cost for this event. The presentation will be a time of sharing information, support, and resources for cancer patients, cancer survivors, caregivers, and loved ones. For questions, contact Denise Hembree at denise@locumc.org or 704-905-8356. To register in advance and to request the Zoom link, email locumc@locumc.org. Jacob Wiltshire is a clinical social worker with the Levine Cancer Institute. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Masters in Social Work from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Lori Hubbard is a Kindergarten Teacher at an independent school in the Charlotte area. She received a diagnosis of Stage 3B malignant melanoma in November 2015.
