The purpose of this community event is to bring awareness to the effect COVID-19 has had on local educators, the educational system, and the emotional wellbeing of those working in this profession. Local educators will highlight lessons learned, available resources and how you can provide support. Participants will hear from Dr. Gina Navarrete, a member of the Mecklenburg County COVID-19 Renewal & Recovery Task Force, as well as a panel of local educators and other representatives from Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.
