Opening Celebration - Patrick Alston, "Post-Traumatism: In Search of Freedom"

Opening Celebration - Patrick Alston, "Post-Traumatism: In Search of Freedom"

Celebrate the powerful abstract works in our newest exhibition, "Post Traumatism: In Search of Freedom". Meet Patrick Alston and gain a deeper understanding of his creative process.

Curated by Dexter Wimberly, the works showcased in this exhibit illuminate the interconnectedness of human existence and the universality of our struggle for emancipation. Alston and Wimberly will appear at the opening in-person for “Open Air - Live @ the Gantt”, so be sure to mark your calendars and plan to attend.

Through abstraction, Alston’s work reflects upon spirituality, socio-politics, identity, language, and the psychology of color. He had various solo and group exhibitions throughout the US and internationally, including Bode Projects in Berlin, and shows in Accra and London.
