Curated by Dexter Wimberly, the works showcased in this exhibit illuminate the interconnectedness of human existence and the universality of our struggle for emancipation. Through abstraction, Alston’s work reflects upon spirituality, socio-politics, identity, language, and the psychology of color. He had various solo and group exhibitions throughout the US and internationally, including Bode Projects in Berlin, and shows in Accra and London.
