S. C. Humanities Festival at the Native American Studies Center
USC Lancaster’s Native American Studies Center hosts events in conjunction with the 2025 South Carolina Humanities Festival, including a mini pop-up art market, take-and-make corn husk doll kits, a Native American artifact ID session, a lecture about sites and artifacts telling the story of the state’s Indigenous peoples prior to the arrival of Europeans, and a longleaf pine needle basketry workshop. Events are free and open to the public!
