The Capitalism Studies Program has announced the “UNC Charlotte Ginkgo Residential Guest Series” of six monthly lectures taking place at the Independent Picture House in Charlotte. This marquee speaker series, curated by Jurgen Buchenau, Ph.D., Dowd Term Professor of Capitalism Studies, will feature thought-provoking presentations led by expert Charlotte faculty members on an array of topics. “The Marvel Universe in Old and New Media” will be the first topic, presented by Aaron Kashtan, Ph.D., Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies.
