Winter Native American Art & Craft Festival

Held in conjunction with See Lancaster's Christmas in the City, the 10th Annual Native American Art & Craft Festival features jewelry, quilts, baskets, Catawba pottery, and more artwork and demonstrations by established and emerging Native American artisans from around the region!

From 10am-3pm, see Artist-in-Residence Bill Harris (Catawba) demonstrate and discuss pottery techniques.
Throughout the day, Columbia College Dance Education Specialist Jess Moore (Waccamaw Siouan Indian Tribe) demonstrates a variety of powwow dance, some with audience participation.

Events are free and open to the public.

Bill Harris appears as Artist-in-Residence curtesy of a 2024 South Carolina Arts Commission Folklife and Traditional Arts Grant.
