Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened near Plaza Midwood on Sunday. The department says officers responding to a call on Eastcrest Drive around 3:30 pm found a victim with a gunshot wound, who was pronounced dead at the scene. No other information has been released.
