Bank of America's plans to buy Chicago based LaSalle Bank from ABN Amro have been put on hold. A Dutch court ruled that ABN shareholders should be allowed to vote on the proposed $21B cash deal. Craig Fahle of WFAE's Carolinas Business Bureau spoke with Tony Plath, and Associate Professor of Finance at UNC Charlotte. Plath says Thursday's ruling was unexpected.
