NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was at Davidson College on Monday to help the school celebrate its new Vann Center for Ethics. His stay on campus included an evening event in which he took questions from an audience of several hundred students and faculty. He also spoke to WFAE Morning Edition host Scott Graf. Their conversation began with a question about safety measures the NFL has implemented. There are many critics who say these rules go too far in protecting players, especially quarterbacks. Goodell makes no apologies.
