Photo: Mark Rumsey A new television documentary tells the story of Camp Greene, a World War One military training camp that was located near Uptown Charlotte. More than 60,000 soldiers came through the facility in 1917 and 1918. WFAE's Mark Rumsey searched out more of Camp Greene's history, starting with a trip to the Dowd House on Charlotte's West Side.
