CMPD Says No Charges Will Be Filed In Fatal Shooting Of Teenager
The fatal shooting of a teenager in Charlotte last month has been ruled accidental, according to the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department.
CMPD said no charges will be filed in the death of 17-year-old Daquayaon Brown Tuesday.Brown arrived at Presbyterian Hospital with a gunshot wound in the early hours of Oct. 10 and died shortly afterward, according to the department. Witnesses who arrived at the hospital with Brown told police that he had been shot at a motel near the intersection of South Tryon and Woodlawn.
CMPD has not released any more details about how Brown was shot.
