Forever Plaid
When four young singers are killed in a car crash, they posthumously take the stage for one final gig in this goofy, 1950s nostalgia trip. Singing in close harmony, squabbling boyishly over the smallest intonations and executing their charmingly outlandish choreography with overzealous precision, the "Plaids" are a guaranteed smash, with a program of beloved songs and delightful patter that keeps audiences rolling in the aisles when they're not humming along to some of the great nostalgic pop hits of the 1950s.
Opening Night will be Friday, September 15th at 7:30pm, and the show will play Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30pm as well as matinees on Saturdays & Sundays at 2pm through September 24th.

Picture Books Are for Grown-Ups Too: Connecting with Our Stories, Connecting with Others
Picture books aren’t just for children. Picture books are for grown-ups too!! In this fun group gathering, discover how picture books can affirm our experiences, serve as conversation starters, and foster meaningful reflection.
HOW IT WORKS: Local Author Patrice Gopo leads participants through an exciting experience of reading children's picture books to connect with other community members, share personal stories, and engage with writing. Over a shared meal, we will consider the themes in THE LITTLE HOUSE OF HOPE by Terry Catasús Jennings and illustrated by Raúl Colón. Through conversation and writing prompts, you'll have an opportunity to consider your story AND hear others share theirs too. Ultimately, these tiny tales will lead to big connection!
All participants will receive lunch PLUS a complimentary copy of THE LITTLE HOUSE OF HOPE!!
