Hornets games returning to local TV this season

Charlotte Hornets games will be available on local television this season under a new agreement with Cox Media Group.

The team announced Wednesday that WSOC-TV and TV64 will air all Hornets games that are not nationally televised, beginning in October.

The stations also will broadcast pregame and postgame shows for each televised game.

The Hornets said the agreement is intended to make games more accessible to fans across the region.
