Orchestra of the 18th Century: Clarinet Concerto

Mozart was an incredibly prolific composer, especially considering that he lived only 36 years. He wrote 40 symphonies, dozens of piano concertos and a handful of violin and horn concertos. But he wrote only one concerto for the clarinet.

Mozart scholar Nicholas Kenyon discusses his favorite recording of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto: a Philips recording of clarinetist Eric Hoeprich, with Frans Bruggen leading the Orchestra of the 18th Century.
