A young singer-songwriter with many miles under her belt, Samantha Crain studied English literature at Oklahoma Baptist University before enrolling in a songwriting retreat. There, she honed her skills as a storyteller and decided to drop out of school and perform full-time. The Oklahoma native has been touring relentlessly ever since.
Crain released her debut EP, The Confiscation, in 2008. At only 22, she's expanding on her already impressive resume, touring with The Avett Brothers and releasing a full-length album of moody indie-folk called Songs in the Night, recorded with her band The Midnight Shivers.
