There's a new star in the world of chess: a child prodigy beats grandmaster

LEILA FADEL, HOST:

There's a new star in the world of chess. A child chess prodigy from Singapore recently beat a 37-year-old chess grandmaster at a tournament in Switzerland. At 8 years old, Ashwath Kaushik is now the youngest player ever to defeat a grandmaster. And the child is no stranger to big wins. He also won a world championship when he was 6 years old. Kaushik's father says he learned the game by playing online when he was just 4.
