Carolina Panthers quarterback Will Grier retires

Carolina Panthers quarterback and Davidson Day School standout Will Grier said he is retiring. The 31-year-old was originally drafted by the Panthers in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Grier was attempting a comeback this year after the Panthers signed him in free agency as their third quarterback. Carolina will still have three quarterbacks on the roster heading into training camp.
