Trapped: The Story of Floyd Collins CAST Theatre in Charlotte is presenting a musical about one of the most famous entrapment and rescue attempts of the 20th century. In 1925 Floyd Collins, a well known caver in central Kentucky, became trapped in a cave he was exploring. For days the world followed rescue attempts through newspapers and it was one of the first national radio events. Collins story has been covered in books, songs and now a musical. We'll meet Roger Brucker, co-author of the most famous book on Collins, and an accomplished caver himself, as well as two members of the current production of Floyd Collins, the musical.
