Cooking in the Kitchen House with Susie Worcester
Cooking in the Kitchen House with Susie Worcester
The long nights and cold days probably seemed endless during the 18th century when supplies and transportation were limited. Join us as we put together a meal with limited supplies. We may even go fishing for our dinner! The receipts for this demonstration will include onion pie, planked fish, beggars' pudding along with homemade egg noodles. We may break open the supplies we put away before winter and add some pickled eggs or other veggies to our table. As always, we can't feed anyone, but we will be glad to answer any questions.
