This presentation explores how a history of racism and white supremacy inspired law and policy that has fostered a legacy of inequality in the United States. It will examine how racial disparities impact every facet of Criminal Justice, from police encounters, arrest, and sentencing; while also encouraging the participants to recognize their own racial biases and how these biases influence their relationships with clients and other stakeholders in the Criminal Justice system
