The Lake Norman Orchestra returns to beautiful Laurel Gray Vineyards-Winery for a free admission Sunday afternoon concert featuring Halloween-theme music. The all-volunteer full orchestra will present "Thriller," "The Monster Mash," "Hotel California," music from Phantom of the Opera, and several "spooky" classical and classic music favorites. A wide variety of refreshments and food will be available during the afternoon. The orchestra is led by music director Mr. Samuel A. Kyzer.

Civics 101, sponsored by the League of Women Voters Charlotte Mecklenburg (LWVCM), offers a comprehensive look into the structures of city, county and state governance for Charlotte.
Seven-evening sessions, one-evening-per week, can be attended either in-person or online. Panelist include elected officials, administrators and media representatives.

His shows weave bold artistry and technical brilliance into immersive experiences that challenge tradition while honoring the expressive depth of the pipe organ. Providing a live improvisational score to the ultimate in OG horror, the silent film Phantom of the Opera, Carpenter takes audiences on an unforgettable journey into the catacombs of the Paris Opera House to meet the legendary Phantom, played by the “MAN OF A THOUSAND FACES, Lon Chaney.
