CM3A Moves Forward
About 1,100 people attended the Charlotte-Mecklenburg African American Agenda (CM3A) in January to look at ways to narrow racial gaps. They decided to focus their efforts on education and economics. Monday, leaders of the conference identified ways to build on these priorities, from bolstering struggling schools to encouraging black-owned businesses. WFAE's Lisa Miller spoke to North Carolina State Senator Malcolm Graham who helped organize the conference.
