Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Deputy Superintendent Maurice "Mo" Green has accepted a position to head Guilford County Schools. Green's been associated with CMS since 1993 and for the past two years, he has been Superintendent Peter Gorman's right hand man. WFAE's Simone Orendain spoke with Green who says it was Gorman - his boss and mentor - who prompted him to pursue the Guilford superintendent's post.
