New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg says emergency officials believe everyone aboard US Airways flight 1549 are safe after an emergency landing on the Hudson River. "There is no reason to believe at the moment that this wasn't something we should thank God for, that everybody got out safely, and we do not believe that there were any serious injuries," Bloomberg said in a press conference at approximately 5:55 p.m.
