The Charlotte area is losing one of its leaders in community theatre. Seven years ago, Davidson Community Players landed its first full-time executive director when it hired Cindy Rice. But this is her last week on the job. Rice is moving to Washington, D.C. to oversee fund-raising for the Jesuit Refugee Service. Before leaving, she told WFAE's Scott Graf what sets community theatre apart from professional productions.
