The police department in Charlotte, North Carolina is now looking into the possibility that a teenager stowed away on a jet that took off from that city's airport a month ago. As WFAE's Scott Graf reports, the investigation represents a change of heart for local officials. The investigation comes after the head of the Charlotte airport asked the local police chief to look into how 16-year-old Delvonte Tisdale may have been able to climb underneath a US Airways plane. The boy's body was found in Milton, Massachusetts - in the flight path to the Boston airport - on November 15th. Investigators in the Boston area think the boy fell out of a wheel well when the plane lowered its landing gear. Up until now, very little of the investigation into Tisdale's death has taken place in Charlotte, and airport officials haven't said anything about the implications a security breach might have. The TSA is looking into the matter. But up until yesterday, officials with the Charlotte airport said they wouldn't conduct any special investigations.
